CarExpert’s review of Mitsubishi Triton
The new Triton represents a big step forward over its predecessor, but it’s still not perfect.
On the positive side? It looks better than before, has a significantly more modern interior and drives slickly on the road in a way its predecessor did not.
It’s also still affordable compared to the Ford Ranger Wildtrak and top-spec versions of the Toyota HiLux, although you’ll expect more in 2024 than you might have when it comes to the outgoing model. eye.
But… driver assistance technology needs to work, as does the automatic stop-start system. They’re the kind of niggles that quickly become more niggles if you spend a lot of time on the open road, and need to be fixed quickly if the Triton is to attract buyers.
