Volvo Australia raises prices of most models

Volvo Cars Australia has increased the list price on most of its models.

All vehicles affected in this particular price increase have a pre-on-road asking price that increases between $500 and $4,000, depending on the model and variant.

We’ve reached out to a Volvo Car Australia spokesperson about why this price adjustment has been made and will update this story once we receive a response.

Volvo models included in this price increase include XC40, C40, XC60, XC90, S60 And V60 Cross Country.

Only two variants of the XC60 series are kept at the same price. These are the XC60 Plus B5 and the XC60 Ultimate B5.

The smallest price increase is for the entry-level XC40 models. They add $500, which means the range now starts at $53,490 before the cost on the road for the Plus B4.

The vehicle with the biggest price increase was the XC90 Recharge Ultimate B8 plug-in hybrid (PHEV), with a $4000 increase. It currently starts at $125,990 before on-road costs.

Volvo is not alone in raising prices across much of its range. Many brands, including Toyota, that, BMW car, volkswagenAnd audio announced price increases almost across the range from January 1, 2023.

In addition to this price hike, Volvo Cars Australia has confirmed Updated versions of XC40 and C40 Recharge is arriving in Australia, but the exact time is yet to be confirmed.
