Volunteers set up more than 1,000 flags ahead of Officer Timmins’ funeral | St. Louis News Headlines
ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) — Volunteers helped arrange flags for fallen Pontoon Seashore Police Officer Tyler Timmins Sunday.
Visitation was held Monday for Officer Tyler Timmins.
Alongside the funeral route for Timmins, you may see a sea of flags all because of volunteers. On Sunday, the Flagman’s Mission Continues requested volunteers to satisfy on the Gateway Heart in Collinsville. Round 100 individuals from all around the area got here to assist arrange nearly 1,700 flags. They had been positioned on either side of the 11-mile route from Collinsville to Wooden River, the place Timmins can be laid to relaxation.
Officer Timmins was shot Tuesday whereas approaching a suspected stolen car on the Speedway fuel station on Route 111 close to E. Chain of Rocks Rd. Scott Hyden was charged with homicide for the lethal taking pictures.
