Update on KTM 2025 motorcycles

The 2025 KTM SX and SX-F series bring a series of updates adopted directly from the efforts of KTM Factory Racing.

The frame has received the most significant update, with visible cutouts and changes in wall thickness around the front area, engine mount and rear shock mounting area. These changes are specifically designed to improve the chassis’ flex characteristics and reduce weight by approximately 300g while maintaining overall stability and improving cornering ability. An updated swingarm with a machined trailing chain and an updated rear brake pedal for improved durability round out the updates to the frame.

Updated framework for 2025

At the rear, the WP XACT rear shock benefits from an updated linkage with new washers and smaller diameter linkage bolts. The setup comes direct from the KTM Factory Racing Team and is optimized to benefit weight savings and stiffness parameters. To complement the updates at the rear, the WP XACT AER fork features reworked settings for more flexibility and less weight.

In terms of ergonomics, the 2025 KTM SX and SX-F series have a new double-sided synthetic plastic fuel tank cover on the upper and lower flanks, providing a new, sharp, distinct appearance and cooling capabilities. improve. This is aided by an updated fuel tank roll that protects the frame from rubbing wear and improves tank installation. Finally, the air intake and snorkel design features are updated on 2025 models. This is now a one-piece unit, preventing deformation through a stronger and stiffer material design.

KTM SX-F 2025

On the surface, all-new graphics reflect the new design language of the fuel tank cover and hint at many small technical changes across the 2025 range. All-orange bodywork, red in-mold graphics and black and a more durable black saddle for a clean look.

KTM Production

2025 also sees the launch of the Connectivity Unit Offroad, available as KTM PowerParts for the 2025 KTM SX-F range. CUO offers various functions and tuning options via the KTMconnect app. The unit exists as two parts: the CUO, mounted on the upper right fork between the lower and upper triple clamp, and the GPS sensor on the front fender. CUO-compatible front fenders are also available as a KTM PowerParts option.

Finally, the beloved KTM 150 SX has rejoined the two-stroke family. The 2025 KTM 150 SX is built on the basis of the KTM 125 SX but has a significant overhaul of parts. The 2025 KTM Motocross range will be available at authorized KTM dealers in Australia and New Zealand from July 2024 onwards.
