I started my search from my home airport, MIA, because it is close to many of the destinations in this sale. It’s no surprise that there are quite a few ticket prices, starting at only about 53 USD one way. Departing flights to Managua usually cost around 53 USD.

The trick is to find return flights. Most are priced around $103 or more, which is still a good price. May and June, as well as January and February 2025, have many of these routes available at discounted prices. Additionally, many of Avianca’s routes from Miami are direct flights — another plus.
If you have the flexibility for a last-minute getaway, you can book nonstop travel from Miami to El Salvador in late April for just $142 round-trip.
This sale offers great value on flights from Miami to Ecuador. We found quite a few itineraries from MIA to UIO in May for as little as $210 round-trip. You can find similar prices for flights in September and October.
If Fort Lauderdale is more convenient, you can book a direct flight to Bogota in August or September for a round-trip ticket of $184.
If you live in Boston, there are plenty of opportunities in this sale for flights to Guatemala in the fall. We found this itinerary from Boston to Guatemala City in September for $238. Remember that there is a stop each way, but follow Google FlightsThat’s a significant discount compared to the regular price.
There are also many flights from New York City to San Salvador. We found several flights departing from JFK in September for as little as $64.
Again, the trick is to find round-trip flights at similar discounted prices. We didn’t have that luck, but all in all, the journey was still discounted compared to the regular fare for this route.
The best deal we found in Los Angeles involved Guatemala. A nonstop flight from LA to Guatemala City this September costs just $165 — a huge discount from the regular price.
