Chronoswiss rotates the display from portrait to landscape with a completely new movement attack two Series, a limited edition collection with two bridges connecting the dial and a stunning hand guilloch-patterned seconds dial.

New Chronoswiss Strike Two H2O.

Echoing existing Chronoswiss regulator dial watches with a vertical layout, such as the Open Gear line, the new Strike Two offers a familiar, modern Chronoswiss look but with a thinner, smaller case , instead placing the sub-dial at the 3 o’clock position. at the top of the dial.

Chronoswiss attacks two golden gears

Similarly, Chronoswiss has also rotated the seconds dial at the 9 o’clock position. The main hand, indicating the minutes, remains centrally located, like most regulator dials.

At 40mm in diameter, smaller than most 42mm Open Gear models, and 12.7mm thick, the Strike Two’s horizontal layout isn’t a first for the Lucerne-based independent, which has introduced introduced this design in the Tora collection in the 1990s.

But while the Tora line primarily features dual time indicators with 24-hour sub-dials, the new Strike Two is clearly a local time product.

Two models

Chronoswiss offers two models in the new collection, the H2O and Golden Gear, each released as a limited edition of one hundred pieces.

Both have steel cases, with the H20 model having a light blue CVD dial and the Golden Gear version having a slate-colored satin-finished dial with gold accents.

The new line called Strike Two draws attention to the movement’s double bridge, showcasing the watch’s working mechanism, which is especially visible below the hour ring.

Known for its beautiful hand guilloche techniques, Chronoswiss places a fine example of this artisanal expertise in its small seconds dial, beautifully finished with a floral motif.

For the Strike Two, Chronoswiss redesigned the bulbous crown, creating a slightly smaller version than what we’ve seen before and adding a flattened end cap.

Inside each watch, the Chronoswiss fits the new Chronoswiss Manufacture Caliber C.6000, developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret and previously seen in a slightly different form to power for improved Chronoswiss Delphis.

The movement has a 55-hour power reserve, ruthenium coating, tungsten rotor, Côtes de Genève radial finish and skeleton gear train.
