Twitter Restricts Game’s Account After He Called Interscope ‘A Modern Day Slave Trade’
Twitter restricted The Game’s account after he left Interscope Records.
“F*ck INTERSCOPE. I mean when I say that 17 years ago and I mean today!!!! They’re starting the modern day slave trade and stealing from every artist. Decisive the best part of my life is breaking up. #StayIndependent,” he wrote.
“@thegame’s account is temporarily unavailable because it violates Twitter’s Media Policy,” his account now writes.
Game recently released a new single, ‘Eazy’ with Kanye West produced by Hit-Boy, which is his highest charting Billboard single in nearly 15 years.
The rapper released his first album, The Documentary in 2005. The album was produced by Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. After moving to another label, the rapper then returned to Interscope in 2012, where he released his fifth album, Jesus Piece.
In the song, Ye took a photo of Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. Kanye gets mad. Kim won’t take him anywhere.
