Another Franklin candidate, Caravel acquired Intercontinental Shares (G3T) in Belmont Park. She has won half of her six starts this year but apart from the Intercontinental, she has struggled with a number of graded bets. Daughter of Mizzen Mast finished fourth, 4 1/4 length return to Presque Isle Downs Masters Stakes (G2) on the all-weather track. She also placed 9th in Caress Stakes (G3T).
