Toyota has released more teaser images for the upcoming Toyota Tacoma 2024, this time revealing that it will come with a level of heavy-duty offroad trim called ‘Trailhunter’.
The rear bumper image you see above shows the rear bumper and tow hook from Australian off-road brand ARB, which has become a household name synonymous with truck accessories.
There’s also an image of Tacoma’s new headlights with the word Trailhunter on the top edge. The headlights look identical to the ones featured on the patent office images we’ve embedded below.
Toyota says the new Tacoma Trailhunter will feature ‘legendary off-road and off-road reliability’ with ‘purpose-built engineering and powerful components’.
Toyota pickup models such as the upcoming Tacoma and Hilux sold in our market are expected to be consolidated during their development and as a result, the Hilux will be marketed by Malaysia and neighboring markets. The receptive approach will be more closely related to Tacoma than the two have been before.
The new Tacoma is expected to share the TNGA-F platform with the Tundra, Lexus LX and Land Cruiser 300 Series.
