Tourists move to Rockridge Stud for 2023
Traveler Tiznow’s 1st grade winning son, who earned $2,170,340 and holds the record for the fastest Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1T) run in 2016, will be moving to Rockridge Stud near Hudson, NY, for the season 2023. He will cost $3,500 next year.
“He is being overlooked in Kentucky and some partners feel moving to New York will maximize his earnings potential with the New York stallion awards,” said Lere Visagie of Rockridge Stud. . “Partners that are on the stallion are planning to purchase mares to help give her a strong start in New York.”
Tourist, the top 15 third crop of 2022, enrolled at WinStar Farm. He’s Outside of Unbridled’s Song winner Unbridled Melody, making him a half-brother to the stake winners Harlan’s harmonies , Michael With Us and Mountain Man Music.
