His contributions to the Iowa-bred racing program at Prairie Meadows were immeasurable. Many of his crossbreeds have raced to win under his familiar chestnut brown and gray silk, while others have been successful for owners who have purchased from or partnered with Poindexter, including including Hall of Famer friend Sandra Rasmussen’s River Ridge Ranch.

Poindexter adds: “Although I do not live in Iowa, I have long since decided to focus my efforts on breeding Iowa crossbreeds to compete at Prairie Meadows and outside of Iowa at some of the biggest races in the country. country. “Chanel’s Legacy is a perfect example.
