Tommy Fury told the UK TalkSports that he would retire if he lost to Jake Paul.
Two young professional boxers turned entertainers are scheduled to meet in an eight-round pay-per-view battle of the cruiser class on February 26 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
“Yes, 100% I do, for sure,” Fury said when asked if he would give it up if he didn’t raise his hand. “If I can’t beat Jake Paul, I don’t belong in the ring.”

Fury, half brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is leading 8-0 (4 KOs). The Manchester, England native, last participated in a sanction match last April, when he beat someone named Daniel Bocianski in London.
Paul (6-0, 4 KOs) is on the verge of a unanimous decision victory over former MMA star Anderson Silva in October. However, he made his most important statement when he stopped Tyron Woodley, a one-time MMA star. another MMA fighter, with just one right hand in their 2021 rematch.
Fury was asked what might happen if Paul caught him with a big punch.
“If he caught me, to be honest, I would probably laugh,” he said, “because I am used to being beaten by heavyweights and Olympic gold medalists, world champions and any other player. Anything hits, so Jake Paul – a kid from Disney – what will he do?
“I will let him hit me, I have no interest. I’m going to raise my hand and let him kick the ball at me like a five-year-old is hitting me.”
Fury believes Paul’s barking is worse than his bite.
He said: “This man convinced himself to be in a good game, when you hear the saying, ‘Oh, he said a good game’, this man said a good match. “While I am, I can fight well.
