Hall of Famer’s son Kostya Tszyu has enjoyed his rise to the top of the youth rankings while fighting in his native Australia, where fans have warmly welcomed him.

Time spent training at the Mayweather gym may seem relatively normal for some elite boxers. After all, a gym is a gym.
However, Tszyu lived nearly 8,000 miles from Sin City. The training center is owned by the greatest boxer of his generation – Floyd Mayweather – a place he can only see on YouTube or some other platform where people watch videos.

Tszyu doesn’t seem normal in that respect. His father was certain of that.
Tszyu, who has two siblings, said: “Yes, I think my father was different. “He is no ordinary father. There is no easy way out for him. He’s a tough man and he’s put it on us. And that’s our way now. Nothing is given, everything is earned.
“You have to work hard for everything that you want. … We are not really given one bit. ”
It was the work ethic he brought into the camp to fight against Gausha, an experienced boxer at the highest level of the sport. He lost his biggest skirmishes but almost always had high self-esteem.
Tszyu was very serious when asked about Gausha’s abilities, saying: “It’s on another level now. There are no easy battles from here on out.”
Indeed, Tszyu is developing into one of the best Australian boxers of his generation and could go even further, like compatriot George Kambosos Jr. He doesn’t guarantee his first world championship title if he beats Gausha but it will soon.
