Tyson Fury is currently causing a stir in public opinion. First, he called out his heavyweight teammate Derek Chisora, whom he fought and won twice. Then the towering England international announced that he had a new coach at Isaac Lowe. Then, if that wasn’t enough, the undefeated WBC and linear world champion announced his retirement once again. However, Fury’s co-promoter, Bob Arum, didn’t actually buy any of it. Talking to FightHub, Arum lets the world know exactly how he sees things about his warrior. “Tyson likes the microphone and the camera focuses on him,” he said when asked about Fury calling Chisora.

And the fact that Fury has hired a new trainer? “It’s all bullshit,” Arum replied. “It’s Tyson Fury. It was his friend Isaac Lowe, a boxer. “And so Fury hasn’t broken the professional bond between him and Sugar Hill Stewart? “No,” Arum said. “He and Sugar Hill are as close as ever.” If what Arum said was really, Fury wouldn’t be able to really retire. “It’s always been (hogwash),” he said. Arum later clarified the point (at least as he saw it).

“You have to understand everything Tyson says with a grain of salt, the way I remember Ali,” Arum said. Everything boxing wisdom he says you have to take with a grain of salt. As for the future, Arum believes Fury will find a way to take on Oleksandr Usyk heavyweight title rematch winner Anthony Joshua next week. His men are fighting the winner, “and we want to do that as soon as possible.” And who has won the second Usyk-Joshua fight?Of course, Usyk won the first, but it is worth remembering that Joshua is back to defeat his previous conqueror, Andy Ruiz, in their 2019 rematch.

“I think maybe Usyk will be better and Joshua is not,” said Arum of the second Usyk-Joshua first leg. Arum then offered his thoughts on Anthony Joshua currently working with renowned American trainer Robert Garcia. Arum said: “Robert Garcia is an excellent coach, but what experience does he really have in coaching a heavyweight?” Probably not much, truth be told. Whether that lack of experience was to Joshua’s detriment remains to be seen. Without a doubt, Arum will monitor matters closely. After all, he wants his man Fury to be next for the winner.
