Before I had kids, I would wonder what it would be like to shop MO for my kids. I wouldn’t have a problem handing over cash for mini-me products from the brands I’ve purchased – or balking at the idea of spending money on something that would quickly grow rapidly, if do not want to say is destroyed by the hard and hard life that is youth ? Am I going to think about everything I put their little bodies in or reach for the nearest clean thing and call it a day? Who knows!
The answer is a combination of the two, really. I love clothes and can’t get past the cuteness of a really neat, miniaturized look… but I’m also pragmatic. The first few months are the laundry — how important are clothes if life is just a series of diaper changes and diaper changes? —But now that my daughter is two years old, I really enjoy shopping for things I really like. I tend to focus on items that are simply smaller versions of the things I want to wear and, if possible, have a unisex color or cut (I’m a fan of the aesthetic and would like to be able to reuse it if possible). we finish son one day).
I flirted Amazon was just the tiniest bit when she was younger, relying more on gifts from my hands and showers, but I was hooked Amazon Essentials for her since discovering it. There’s a lot of “I’ll wear it my size” thing! going on, and the quality feels on par with versions that cost $30 or more.
Here are some I’ve purchased recently, along with a few more that I’m considering adding to my cart.
first
1/4 Zip Sweater Cable Knit Pullover Sweater
A woven camel cable with a zip necklace is the kind of item I’d tell anyone, at any stage in life, to wear more often. Toddlers are not excluded.
2
Heavy hooded jacket
After seeing my eyes well up with tears at the price of a few kids coats, I was overjoyed to see how good Amazon’s wallet-friendly version was when it arrived in the mail. (there are cuffs that fit snugly at the wrist and thumb!).
3
Long-sleeve knitted thermos, 3 pcs
Basic doesn’t mean boring. Thermos flasks are perfect for fall and winter, and busy prints help disguise paint stains or fake food.
4
Knit fashion sports shoes
If I like it for me, I like it for the kids. Lace-up sneakers are stylish and comfortable sportswear for small ankles.
5
Sherpa jacket with extreme fleece lining
The contrast zippered fleece teddy bear is suitable for all ages, and this basic version caught my attention right away. There are a ton of colors to choose from, but I love this deep caramel color.
6
2 piece long sleeve pajama set
When it comes to toys for kids, there are literally thousands to choose from. Bright, cartoon prints are everywhere, but this monochrome set with a hint of neon has an upgraded feel.
7
Soft fluffy sweater
Super soft, super trendy: I’ve owned more than a few oversized blouses and sweaters so this is obvious.
8
Lace sports shoes
Something about the gum soles and thick stripes speaks to my shoe language. This couple feels adults rather than playgrounds, which is always a win in my book.
9
Quilted puffer fish coat
Just as I can’t resist another cute coat, my daughter will also bear the burden. The quilting and shearling lining here is too good not to be missed.
ten
Waterproof snow bib
If you’re in an area of the country with snow, you have to deal with it, wise. The super light blush and low price make this a winner.
