But it took her more than exercise to get the skin she wanted: “Switching to clean products has changed my skin,” says Branch, who has struggled with constant breakouts. , said. “I tried everything and burned all the disgusting things on my face. The branch specializes in helping others turn corners. “Minority communities are disproportionately affected by childhood obesity,” she said. According to a 2021 National Institutes of Health survey, African-American and Hispanic children are 30% more likely to be overweight or obese than white children. “A lot of people shy away from exercising because they don’t see women who look like they’re exercising,” she continued. “Exercise can change your life and be happy. Maybe skating is your hobby. To me, those are group classes, and here in Atlanta, they’re like a party — the music is on, everyone is chanting, and the instructor is wearing a great suit. When you find something you love, it’s easier to stay consistent.”
The same goes for her skin care. “I like anything that exfoliates and makes me glow,” says Branch. “It helps me stick with my routine. I never thought my skin could look like it does now.”

Really long lasting lip balm
I’ve used mineral oil lip balms before, but this lip balm feels fancy and premium — it glides on and the packaging is beautiful.
