Stellar Blade New Game Plus Mode Launches April 26 – PlayStation.Blog

Stellar Blade launches tomorrow and that’s just the beginning of Eve’s mission to save humanity little by little. Today, we at Shift Up are excited to reveal that New Game Plus will be coming to Stellar Blade at launch on April 26, so players can continue their journey across Xion after the credits roll. The new mode includes expanded gear levels, new outfits to wear, and a new set of skills.

Before diving into the details of New Game Plus, let’s take a look at the Stellar Blade launch trailer that shows off the exhilarating sci-fi melee combat that awaits.

New Game Plus details revealed

Okay, let’s find out what players can expect after completing Stellar Blade for the first time.

Expanded wardrobe

In our upcoming New Game Plus, you can purchase new outfits and accessories for Eve as well as additional outfits for Adam, Lily and Drone.

You can try reopening the chests where you previously bought your outfits, or revisit the shops that sell them. You may also want to replay missions to earn outfits you missed the first time through.

There are up to 34 new outfits for Eve to earn in New Game Plus, including 5 accessories and 2 costumes for Adam, Lily and Drone.

I especially like the Crew Style outfit.

The Crew style is only available in New Game Plus chests, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

Level expansion for Eve’s Gear

Level expansion for Weapon, Body Core, Beta Core and Tumbler:

  • Weapons – 15 -> 40
  • Body – 6 -> 9
  • Beta – 6 -> 9
  • Cup – 5 -> 13
  • The remaining cores can be sold at SP0-tt2r’s store to obtain Vitcoins, which can be used to purchase new cosmetic items.

Players who have seen the game’s ending can challenge themselves on harder difficulties. To fight tougher enemies, Eve also needs to get stronger.

In New Game Plus, in addition to continuing your progress, you’ll be able to collect Cores to power up Eve’s weapons, HP, and Beta Energy even more than in the base game.

You can also further enhance your Tumbler, increasing the amount of HP it heals at once.

You can also upgrade your Drone to increase the power of your ranged attacks.

Once you complete all of your upgrades, you can sell the Core items you earned to SP0-tt2r to buy new outfits.

New skill

In New Game Plus, you will be able to get Infinite skills that improve existing Beta Skills.

  • 4 new Beta skill moves
  • 8 new skills to enhance Beta/Burst skills
  • 5 new Drone skills

Beta Skill: Infinite slashing

Infinite Pierce, an improvement on the Quadruplet, allows you to deliver a devastating blow to your enemies.

Beta Skill: Infinite Penetration

Or you can tear through enemy shields with Infinite Breaker.

Beta Skill: Infinite Breaker

Not only can Beta Skills be enhanced but so can Burst Skills, so defeat enemies and earn SP (Skill Points) to unlock them all.

Other changes of the new Game Plus

Eve and Exospine’s gears will also receive new improvements.

These Mk2 enhancements to existing equipment will allow players to personalize their approach to the game.

Why not increase your attack speed to pummel enemies with attacks or convert the damage you take into Beta Energy and send it back to them?

You can also enhance your armor penetration to ignore enemy shields.

If you feel overwhelmed by stronger enemies, we recommend collecting and combining Mk2 equipment.

Additionally, according to Eve’s evolution, enemies on higher difficulties will be stronger.

Enemies can also be repositioned in New Game Plus, so be alert!
