The subtleties that can rob you of the sharpness of your photos
There are many pitfalls that can cause blurry landscape photos, some clear and some a little less subtle. This great video tutorial discusses some of the easy-to-miss causes of blurred landscape photos and what you can do to fix or avoid them in the first place.
Coming to you from Mark Denney, this excellent video tutorial discusses some of the minor mistakes that can cause loss of sharpness in your landscape images. One thing I’ve overlooked for a long time is the camera mount on a tripod. If you have an easily removable camera strap, all you have to do is remember to remove it once your camera is on a tripod. If you don’t have one that comes off easily, a quick tip is to simply wrap the strap around the body or lens so it doesn’t sway in the wind. I do this in particularly windy conditions or when I’m in the water, and it has made a noticeable difference in my goalkeeping ratio. Check out the video above for a full rundown from Denney.
