The finance ministry said there are no immediate plans to reduce the disability income tax (OKU) in categories B40 and M40 for the purchase of a motor vehicle. Sim says the current tax relief is deemed sufficient to ease the burden on people with disabilities in categories B40 and M40. “However, the government will always review and improve the current tax policy over time in line with the economic environment,” he added.
