The dog chooses a woman with cancer to be the mother except she belongs to someone else
A neighborhood stray named Georgia kept sneaking into Laurette’s yard. The dog pushed her over the fence, walked over to Laurette and wagged her tail. As if she had something to say to her.
Laurette contacted the neighbor to see if he knew the dog. He then explained that the street dog would stay with him temporarily until he could find a permanent solution. Although it was clear that Georgia was hungry for her attention, Laurette led her back to her neighbor’s yard.
But Georgia persisted. She kept coming back to Laurette. Laurette says in the video below, “It’s like she chose me as her family.” Their connection is clear, especially with Georgia. The third time the dog pushed her back into Laurette’s yard, the woman surrendered and let her in.
The intelligent dog is quite intuitive. She entered Laurette’s life when this woman needed as much love as she could. She went through chemotherapy and radiation, and battled ovarian cancer. Thankfully, Laurette won that battle! Laurette reached out to her neighbor and asked if she could adopt Georgia and the rest is history.
Georgia became an inspiration to Laurette when she recovered from cancer. She helped build her strength both internally and externally. To see the full story, watch the video below. We’re so thankful these two found each other!
