I’ve found it not only makes my workflow more efficient, but it actually improves the quality of my images by allowing me to add edits that were previously simply not worth the time, and effort. For example, I often film concerts in a beautiful hall with a glass wall revealing the garden behind the stage. To get the right stage lighting, I usually blow up the sky. However, it was just too difficult for the sky mask to bring it back in time. However, with the new masking tools, I can do it with a single click and get the sky back where it should be.
