Ozzy joined us in August 2020. He was adopted by a kind couple who found him alone while they were house hunting. They knew they couldn’t leave him there.
He suffers from some problems like conjunctivitis and parasites of all kinds. When it all came to light, we realized he was special! Our sweet Ozzy bear has a dwarf form known as osteochondrodysplasia. This is the reason for his thick short legs and tail. He also has the cutest bow-legged figure with his most notable feature being his large teeth. One of them is always protruding, giving him a unique look.
He weighs about 4 pounds when fully grown and we watch his weight very carefully, as that is one of the health concerns for feline dwarfism. He shares the veterinary clinic with his normal-sized “brother from another mother,” aptly named Yellow Cat.
Ozzy looked at his brother, who had been taught him how to be a cat. They do everything together and Yellow is very gentle with him in every way. We’re so glad Ozzy made it to us. He has lots of caregivers, free lifetime health care, and more love than he can bear.
