DxO announced updates to DxO’s PhotoLab 5, FilmPack 6, and Nik Collection.
PhotoLab version 5.1 includes an improved user interface with GPS coordinates displayed directly on Google Maps. There’s a revised photo filter menu that promises improved usability. DxO has added support for Canon EOS R3, Ricoh GRIIIx, Fujifilm X-T30 II and Fujifilm GFX 50S II. PhotoLab 5.1 also supports Chinese language.
FilmPack 6.1 also includes an improved workflow. The Time Machine feature was added to FilmPack 6 when it Released early this fall there’s a new one-click option to apply a specific look to an image while browsing.
Nik Collection by DxO version 4.3 adds 35 new nature-inspired presets, adding to the existing set of over 250 presets. Nik Color Efex features ‘The Seasons’, which are four presets that ‘evoke different periods of the year.’ For example, Winter adds a cool atmosphere to your photos while Autumn pushes green foliage to reds, oranges, and yellows, adding warmth to your landscape photos.
Nik HDR Efex features five new presets in the ‘Seasonal Landscape’ series. Nik Analog Efex has six ‘Yesteryear Landscape’ presets to give your photos a vintage look. Nik Silver Efex includes ‘Drama Landscape’ presets, which promise to add more detail and drama to black and white landscape photos.

For Adobe Photoshop users, there are six meta-presets, which are actions that combine filters and settings from other Nik Collection plugins. You can quickly transform photos with just one click.
DxO PhotoLab 5.1, FilmPack 6.1 and Nik Collection by DxO 4.3 are now available as free updates for existing users. If you’re a new user, you can download the free trial and see upgrades and new user pricing at DxO Store.
