Tesla Model 3 leak reveals new feature

We know an update for Tesla Model 3 coming soon – and thanks to another leak, we have a clearer idea of its features.

The updated sedan, known internally as Project Highland, may feature ventilated seats for the first time based on the latest leaks posted on Chinese social media.

The seats appear to have come from an outside supplier and appear to have hardware for ventilation along with heating.

At this stage it is not clear when to update Tesla Model 3 will hit production. Although Tesla boss Elon Musk was recently in China, the updated mid-size sedan has yet to be revealed.

A recent photo shared on reddit shows that the Model 3 will get a new headlight design, as well as a new front bumper and what appears to be – finally – a instrument cluster.

Not a Tesla app reports that the Model 3 will have a single camera in the center of the front bumper plus two new cameras, one on each side of the vehicle.

This is said to be a 5-megapixel camera with anti-glare coating, which is superior to current 1.2-megapixel car cameras. The updated model will also be upgraded from a Hardware 3 to a Hardware 4 supercomputer.

There won’t be any ultrasonic sensors as the company pushes ahead with the Tesla Vision system, which doesn’t rely on radar or sensors but instead a camera, while Tesla will also simplify the Model 3’s interior even further. .

Tesla has previously said it won’t go the traditional ‘upgrade’ route like traditional carmakers, but it looks like it’s changing its tune to help keep its vehicles fresh.
