It seems if you are interested in purchasing one Fisker Ocean, MSRP will be the price you pay. In an effort to clean up as much as possible, Fisker announced on May 13 will offer free shipping on leftover Ocean inventory.

Fisker still has plenty of 2023 Oceans available, specifically the Ocean Extreme – currently priced at $37,499 – and the Ocean Ultra at $34,999. It looks like if you’re interested in purchasing one of these, you won’t have to worry about shipping fees anymore. The price reduction has helped things. Ocean Sport received it big price cut to just $24,995, down from $38,999 to help clear remaining inventory of Fisker’s entry-level SUV. However, you’re out of luck if you’re in the market for one as it looks like it won’t be in production anymore.

Cutting those destination fees is also a good thing since Fisker’s fees are some of, if not the highest in the industry. I understand that they are manufactured by Magna International and have to be shipped from Austria, but $2,438 is not a small number to factor into the price of the car. Despite everything else Fisker is going through —passenger car is broken, bad reviewsa finance department apparently does not know what it is doing and a threaten bankruptcy That’s always on the horizon — the company has some good news.

The automaker also said it has added more dealer partners so that buyers in New Jersey and New York will now be able to visit a physical dealership.

While all of this makes the Ocean an attractive buy, we must advise that if you’re interested, proceed with caution. Fisker may not like that, but the reality of the situation is that the company is in a bad position. Its Austrian subsidiary, Fisker GmbH file for bankruptcy earlier this month, Henrik Fisker himself put his millions on the line Southern California mansion is for sale to raise cash

And as I said earlier, Magna International, the company that currently produces the Ocean for Fisker, has assumed that they will no longer build Oceans based on the state of the company. All this means is that unless some hero swoops in and injects cash into the company or buys them out, you’re buying a car that could have any kind of roadside extras. So buy one at your own risk.
