Terrifyingly powerful solar storm produces powerful auroras at BOTH ends of the Earth

The Solar Storm hit Earth on March 15 after a powerful mass ejection (CME) wave escaped from the surface of the Sun, continuing to haunt our planet. Surprisingly, the explosion took place on the far side of the Sun, where it shouldn’t have affected us, but because it was traveling at a dizzying speed of 3000 km/s and created a shock wave that repelled some of the particles. CME towards Earth. The collision was so severe that both ends of the Earth witnessed aurora lights.

The thing is report by SpaceWeather.com noted on its website, “The CME struck Earth’s magnetic field yesterday, March 15. The impact was so powerful that it emitted auroras at both ends of the planet. This is the time of year when the Aurora and the Aurora can be seen at the same time. We are only a few days away from the March equinox. The near-equal amount of darkness allows sky-watchers in both hemispheres an equal chance of witnessing the aurora.”

Intense Sun storm aurora in both hemispheres

The solar storm recorded as a Category G2 hurricane is quite strong and can disrupt wireless communications and GPS service, causing trouble for airlines, sailors, ham radio controllers, and drone operators. Solar storms can slow flight, cause ships to change course, and disrupt any important information shared over these low-frequency channels.

The reason the same solar storm can light up both poles of the planet is because the equinox is so close. Right now, both hemispheres are equally spaced from any incoming solar particles. This means that any intense solar storm will cause double damage to the Earth by affecting both hemispheres of the brain.

It was the same solar storm that caused the polar cap absorption event and created shortwave radio blackouts over a three-day period. Worryingly, the active region on the Sun where these outbursts take place will head towards Earth in a week’s time. If a similar eruption follows, Earth could even see a solar storm far beyond the Carrington event.
