In 2019, Musk donated $1 million to Donaldson’s effort to plant 20 million trees around the world. Showing his involvement in the movement, he even briefly changed his Twitter name to Treelon.

Musk plans to acquire Twitter for $44 billion soon, and has made some promises about prioritizing free speech on the platform. He even promised to ‘remove the embargo’ on Donald Trump. The Tesla chief was recently seen in a video with EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton, where the person promised to agree to EU guidelines and make the platform compliant with their policies.
