Official FFVII remake Twitter account shared more details about Yuffie’s redesign from Intermittent episode. Square Enix updated Yuffie’s original design to incorporate some more realistic details, while maintaining her design as a modern ninja and Japanese style in her original design. The company shares that, while the rest of the fabric physics in her model run in real time, Yuffie’s foot warmers are individually tuned so they don’t fall off.

Although her redesign is kept very close to the original, some details have been changed or adjusted to bring her to life in a more modern setting. In particular, her right arm wears a gauntlet that closely resembles a set of Japanese armor, compared to her original design of wearing a protective metal gauntlet.

Square Enix recently shared more details about Yuffie’s moogle robewhich the developers have recreated in real life and then scanned to model and add to the game.
Final Fantasy VII Remake available immediately for PS4, PS5 and PC. The PS5 and PC versions of the game are Upgrade and remake FFVII versions, including Episode Intermission, a story parallel to the events of the main game starring Yuffie as the protagonist.
