October 09, 2021, Brandenburg, Grünheide: A die casting tool to produce metal parts for the Tesla Model Y is seen in the production hall of the Tesla Gigafactory on opening day.  In Grünheide, east of Berlin, the first cars will roll off the production line from the end of 2021. The American company plans to produce about 500,000 Model Ys here each year.
