Sprint Expressway entrance to Jalan Maarof, Bangsar remains closed until December – use alternate routes
According to a report by Starmotorists will have to wait until December to use the Damansara Link on the Sprint Expressway to Jalan Maarof, Bangsar.
This is intended to facilitate the construction of a 1.34 km three-lane overpass to Jalan Semantan, replacing the previous overpass along Jalan Johar. Damansara link has been closed since the end October last yearand prolonged closures will likely exacerbate traffic congestion.
A spokesman for Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said the road project had been delayed due to a number of factors, including bad weather and delays in the delivery of materials.
Motorists traveling from Petaling Jaya to Bangsar can take a detour via Jalan Beringin-Jalan Damanlela-Jalan Damansuria. They should also use four alternative routes during rush hour, namely Penchala Road, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, Kerinchi Road and Jalan University.
