Could the release date be coming?
Sonic Frontiers is easily one of the most anticipated titles of 2022 and is currently scheduled for a “holiday 2022” release.
If you’re wondering about its development status, it looks like it’s still on track for a release later this year – with the game having recently been critically acclaimed in Korea. Perhaps we might even get a release date announcement from Sega in the near future.
Earlier this week, a new release date list (spotted by SteamDB) shows that the game was targeting a release in early November and was later changed to December 3, which would technically be in line with “holiday 2022”.
Sega’s Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka has also previously addressed how the game doesn’t get delayed – noting that the team is happy with its progress and looks forward to it reaching fans. grave sooner rather than later.
