Musselburgh, Ludlow and Wolverhampton start another race week on Monday. Each location holds a seven-race card and we’ll have horse racing tips for all three meetings, including one NAP of the day and 15 lucky tips.
Horses for courses is a phrase that every racing fan is familiar with. It’s for good reason, though, as some horses will only perform at their “home away from home”. That phrase certainly applies to the horse below, who has won seven of his eight career victories at Wolverhampton. He dropped points on Monday looking for eight and you can find all of the breakdown below!
If you’ve been following racing for a while, I’m sure you’ll be familiar Mutabaahy. Coached by Antony Brittain, the six-year-old has run a total of 79 times, including 23 “away” starts, Wolverhampton. He’s won them on seven occasions, and that 30% hit rate shouldn’t be mocked.
He is a very special horse and there is no doubt about that, he needs everything to drop to win. He will be held captive under Cam Hardie, who will find a way to get through at the end of the day, and he certainly has all the tools to do so. This particular race looks to be wide open and there will be some strong speeds on offer soon.
That will suit him down to the ground, and going back to the metal five-foot minimum ride is another positive. He’s currently 6 pounds below his last winning rating, and the drop to the 5th Rank company is another factor in his favor. If this really turns out to be a fire, as predicted, he will be late and need to be heavily involved for a spot.
