Results Nathan Gorman vs Tomas Salek, Josh Kelly
Though short, Nathan Gorman (19-1, 13 KOs) put on a powerful performance to beat Tomas Salek (17-4, 13 KOs) in one round at M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool to claim the IBF belt. International Heavyweight is currently vacant.
His cousin and WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury appeared to provide vocal support to Gorman, who wasted no time talking about Salek.
The collision was positive and difficult for the Czech heavyweight champion from the start. With full body shots to follow Salek struggled before a drop of sweat fell onto the canvas.
It was the kind of display that the British title challenger had to make. He beats Salek whenever he gets the chance and a top and left hook knock his opponent down in less than a minute. Salek recovered but effectively the fighting ended. Gorman didn’t play with his food and a left hook delivered another smash that Salek shot at who had no place to continue and save from further punishment.

Josh Kelly
Four rounds of one-way traffic got Josh Kelly (11-1-1, 7 KOs) back to victory tonight in Liverpool.
His 16-month absence from the ring is fully documented since losing to David Avanesyan has now entered the record books after beating Peter Kramer (12-6-3, 8 KOs) live on Channel 5.
Kelly showed no sign of ring rust and at half-time almost got his man out of there in two minutes. Sunderland’s super-heavyweight position pinned his Hungarian opponent to the top of the head who looked staggered backwards, but he survived.
Kramer’s best moment came only in the fourth round when a right arm reminded Kelly that there were two men in the ring. The previous six minutes were the mix of showreel angles, accuracy, speed and tops that Kramer would see in his sleep over the next few nights.
A low hit from Kelly gave Kramer a sigh of relief in the fourth inning, with just one minute left. Referee John Latham may have dismissed the fight before it was the number of shots Kramer took. The upper-right hit will win the night and the fight for the Wasserman as it rips, enough for the man in the middle to wave goodbye to the match.
