What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, the engine oil cooling line may be damaged by the point of contact with the two coolant lines and may cause an oil leak. If this happens, oil can leak into the road and come into contact with the rear tire. This may result in loss of vehicle control.
What are the hazards?
Loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident causing injury or death to the driver and/or passengers and/or other road users.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected motorcycles should contact their preferred Ducati Service Center to arrange for the free installation of the updated oil hose holder.
Vehicle owners can find information on the Ducati Authorized Service Network by referring to the Dealer Locator section of the website. www.ducati.com/au/en/dealers.
