Random: Google’s Splatoon Easter Egg Lets You Print Your Search Results
Probably would be the way of the year to say Splatoon 3 was a huge hit. The game broke records with the amazing amount of sales it achieved in Japan and the same can be said worldwide. The game has been as in fact, a huge hit that even Google got into.
Getting an interactive Google Easter egg on your search is like having a popular kid in school come to your party – it’s a sign that you’re in for the big leagues – and Splatoon now definitely part of that crew.
As pointed out by Go Nintendoif you search for Splatoon, Splatoon 2 or Splatoon 3 on Google at the moment, you’ll notice a small splash animation happening just below the suggested games page. Clicking on the aforementioned icon will allow you to click anywhere on the search engine to send a blob of ink flying over your search results.
We know your big question, don’t worry. Yes, it works on desktop and mobile. Just make sure to search through Chrome for the easter egg.
While it’s hardly the most exciting of Splatoon’s game modes, it’s nice to see the Inkling fascination (or Octoling obsession) spreading more widely than many of us think.
