Radu Lupu, famous Romanian pianist, dies aged 76

An undated portrait of the late Romanian pianist Radu Lupu. Lupu died Sunday at the age of 76 in Lausanne, France.

A pianist admired by fellow musicians, Radu Lupu is known for his interpretations of Brahms, Schubert, Mozart and Beethoven, among others. Lupu took a break from performing in 2019.
