Puspakom April 2023 schedule for mobile test truck unit, off-site inspection for Sabah and Sarawak

Puspakom has announced the April 2023 schedule for its mobile testing unit for Peninsular Malaysia and external testing for Sabah and Sarawak.

Trucks from the mobile inspection unit will arrive in Perak, Johor, Terengganu, Kelantan, Pahang and Negeri Sembilan. The purpose of this initiative is to serve people who live far from the Puspakom branches. Services offered include routine inspections, transfer of ownership, and voluntary vehicle inspections, among other checks. Gua Musang in Kelantan will return this month.

There are no luxury “transformer” trucks in East Malaysia, but staff and equipment for external tests will go to Ranau, Kota Belud, Semporna, Kunak, Kapit, Limbang, Lawas and Marudi, among other markets other small towns in Sabah and Sarawak. Note that Kudat is again not on this month’s list – one can visit Puspakom in Kota Marudu, where an appointment is required.

The vehicle inspection company says that customers can go directly to the stated locations on the specified dates without having to book an appointment online as is usual for Puspakom branches. Mobile test unit normal operating hours are from 8am to 6pm, but some are from 8am to 1pm (highlighted in red), so check before coming there.
