Base versions of the Ioniq 6 start at $42,715 with a 240-mile range. That positions the price of the Ioniq 6 just below the price of the Ioniq 5 crossover.

Toyota is considering strengthening Electric vehicle production in Kentucky at its current plant there as soon as 2025, according to a report. The move is likely to take advantage of a federal EV tax credit as well as incentivized batteries from a new factory in North Carolina.
