Price and specifications Mercedes-Benz EQE 2023

The new Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle range is now available at dealerships in Australia, with three variants being offered locally.

The range opens up with the single-engine rear-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz EQE 300, with the all-wheel drive EQE 350 4Matic all-wheel drive above it, and the intriguing twin-engine Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 more than limited scope.

This is the second model to use the Mercedes-Benz Electric Vehicle Architecture, following EQS fastback.

The two passenger cars will be joined by a pair of American-made SUVs, known simply as SUV And SUV EQSin the third quarter of 2023.

powertrain

The EQE 300 uses a single rear-mounted electric motor 180kW power and 550Nm torque, good for a 0-100km/h time of 7.3 seconds. It uses a 89kWh lithium-ion battery.

The EQE 350 adds a second electric motor at the front to the two-motor four-wheel drive system. Its output is increased accordingly, with 215kW And 765Nm on the machine and faster 6.3 seconds sprint to 100 km/h. It uses a 90.5kWh battery.

The AMG EQE 53 also features 90.5kWh battery and dual-motor all-wheel drive drivetrain, despite having a total system output of 460kW power and 950Nm of torque.

Mercedes-Benz claims the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 3.5 seconds.

AMG’s optional Dynamic Package sees those outputs increase 505kW and cool 1000Nmwith a time of 0-100km/h reduced to 3.3 seconds. Mercedes advises that full outputs are only available “at the appropriate temperature and charge”.

Effective

Mercedes-Benz cites the WLTP range and energy consumption of 508km And 20.1kWh/100km in EQE 300 and . respectively 462km And 22.5kWh/100km in the EQE 350.

The AMG EQE 53 has a claimed WLTP range of 435km and energy consumption of 21.8kWh/100km.

All models can be charged with up to 11kW (22kW option) for AC power and 170kW for DC power.
