Preview of GWM Haval Jolion Hybrid in Malaysia – Opponent of X50 and HR-V; 190 PS, 375 Nm; released this year
Outside the Haval H6Great Wall Motor will also introduce haval jolion IN Malaysia this year, according to an official representative. The B-segment SUV was recently previewed here as a hybrid with a total system output of 190 PS and 375 Nm of torque.
The HEV powertrain responsible for these outputs is made up of a 1.5-litre NA 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 95 PS at 6,000 rpm and 125 Nm of torque from 4,400 to 5,200 rpm. The multi-point fuel injection plant is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to drive the front wheels, while an electric motor operates at 156 PS (115 kW) and 250 Nm.
In terms of dimensions, the Jolion is 4,472 mm long, 1,841 mm wide, 1,619 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. That makes it larger than other popular SUVs in the B segment such as the Proton X50 (4,330 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, 1,609 mm high, 2,600 mm wheelbase) as well as the Honda HR-V (4,330 long) to 4,385 mm, 1,790 mm wide), 1,590 mm high, 2,610 mm wheelbase).
Final specs aren’t available yet, but this example has sport LED headlights with special daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels (with 225/55 profile tires), LED taillights and doors. sunroof.
Meanwhile, the interior features a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leather seats, automatic climate control, electronic parking brake (with function hold auto brake) and dashcam. Front radar sensors and steering wheel controls also indicate the presence of advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking.
Jolion was launched in Thailand, where it is offered in three variants (Tech, Pro and Ultra). Currently, the official website of GWM Thailand only lists the price of Ultra as 999,000 baht (RM131,688).
