Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross-match different from other Yu-Gi-Oh! title where it focuses on four-player combat. Each player in the match will have a number of their card slots linked to the opponent’s card slots on either side and the other side. As in other iterations of Duel Monsters, the player will summon monsters and use magic to fight other duels. The four-player cooperative mode pits all four players against a group of extremely tough monsters. Finally, a more relaxed single-player mode rearranges the structure into a two-on-two setup. Multiplayer lobbies also support up to 32 players.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross-match features 3D rendering of all summoned monsters in the game, as well as ways to customize and unlock their skills to build decks. The single-player mode will team up players with partners from the anime and manga series. Players can gain partner’s trust through cooperation, improve their performance and earn rewards.
Here are some of the 3D rendered monsters available. Some monsters, such as the Blue Eyes White Dragon icon, will have a special summoning animation. Gallery mode allows players to view monster models freely.
