PlayStation Store hints Gotham Knights may support four-player co-op

Hard times for the bad guys

It would be hard to commit wrongdoing in the gritty sanctuary of Gotham City just knowing that a masked vigilante is tailing you… but four? This may be the fate that awaits Warner Bros.’s Montreal adventure gallery. Knight of Gothamcurrently in development for PC and console.

Although it is commonly known that Batman: Arkham spin-off will have co-op support for two players, a recent update for PlayStation Store list for the title now shows that the open world title could, in fact, support four-player multiplayer. One such mode would see Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and The Red Hood takes to the ordinary streets as a quartet, unleashing meaty vengeance.

Unscrupulous people beware.

Of course, there is no official word from developer WB Montreal about whether Knight of Gotham will actually support four-player co-op. Additionally, four-player co-op, if such a feature exists, could only be tied specifically to certain modes, rather than the main campaign itself. Ultimately, and more disappointingly, this may just be a PlayStation mistake. For now, we will have to keep watching this Bat-Time and Bat-Channel.
