Many large electric SUVs are on their way to join the Porsche lineup. The VW Group has chosen Canada to build batteries for electric vehicles in North America. And the Hummer EV’s huge battery can be used to charge other EVs. This and more, at Green Car Reports.
The upcoming 2024 model year GMC Hummer EV can charge other EVs at 6 kW using a 240-volt vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging cord coming soon. That’s enough to send a meaningful charge to a smaller EV—more than 20 miles of charge in an hour to a Chevy Bolt EV, for example.
Porsche confirmed on Monday that there are two full-size electric SUVs on the road to performance brands: an electric version of the Cayenne and another built on VW’s Scalable System Platform (SSP) and positioned above the Cayenne. Both will come after a 718 electric sports car and an electric Macan compact SUV.
