Pleasant Acres Stallions reports Leinster’s first pony
Pleasant Acres Stallions announced the first reported pony by 1st, 2nd place winners Leinster a woman out treasure yard Cool O Toole’s daughter. The puppy was bred by ranchers Joe and Helen Barbazon.
Helen Barbazon said: “Leinster is a great addition to the stables at Pleasant Acres Stallions. “It’s been exciting to see him create such an exceptional pony in his first case. We look forward to following the career of this beautiful pony.”
Leinster began his steed career at the Pleasant Acres Stallions in 2022 and cost $5,000. He won Troy Stakes (G3T), beat many graded stake winners Disco partner and pure feeling while setting his first record that day — passing 5 1/2 feathers on the Mellon Turf in 1:00.23. He set another course record at Keenelandwhere he went 5 1/2 seconds in 1:00.86 in Shakertown Stakes (G2T).
At the age of 5, Leinster won the Woodford Stakes (G2T) after finishing second in the race the previous year and then third in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1T), in which he beat multiple 1st place winners storm . He ended his racing career by winning the Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint Stakes (G3T).
