Square Enix has had a solid run on Nintendo Switch over the past year with releases like Live a life, NieR:Automatic, Ogre Strategy: Reborn and more recently Crisis core, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. The Japanese publisher and developer reported a decrease in net revenue for the most recent financial results period (to December 31, 2022).
Although net sales fell to 255 billion yen (a drop of nearly 7% year-on-year), the studio still has some big plans for the future – introducing “many new titles” including games with Brand new IP.
