Due to the forecast of rain early next week, work on Pimlico racetrack Surface dirt has been rescheduled from Monday, April 25, to Wednesday, April 27.
This work, which includes an examination of previous work done on the base at Pimlico prior to the spring rendezvous, is scheduled for Easter Sunday, April 17, through Tuesday, the day April 19. Pimlico and Laurel Park was scheduled to be closed for training on Easter.
The Maryland Jockey Club also said that due to the forecast of rain, entries will not be held for the grass races scheduled for Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22.
