Pielke Jr. in John Cook’s Truthotron Set – Are you interested in that?

This is so funny
I’m looking at a silly article about an AI tool to detect “denialers”
The Phil Jones Climategate email code training document indicates that he will keep certain non-IPCC papers as a 5.2🤣 climate disclaimer
I’m starting to think this must be a Sokal!!
Another joy
An accurate presentation of my peer-reviewed research with @JessicaWeinkle @maue is a 1.7 . climate rejection
More fun games with Skeptic Science boys
My mere existence as described in the statement below from their training dataset is labeled as climate rejection type 1.7
My answers courtesy of Joe Romm are rated climate denial 5.2 😎
How is my widely cited peer-reviewed work and I specifically coded as “climate denial” in this algorithm?
Homely
Algorithm training was done by people who chased a decade + vendors against me
They’re Automating Character Assassination and Calling It “Science”
Incredible!
More serious
Let’s say Facebook or Twitter decide to run with the new AI climate denial detection tool
That means anyone who mentions this peer-reviewed, widely cited, and accurate paper will be labeled a “denyer”.
https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/clim/25/13/jcli-d-11-00719.1.xml
It’s… crazy, isn’t it?
It also means that anyone who mentions me and the fact that I’m a professor at the University of Colorado and the details of my accomplishments will be labeled a “climate denier” by the algorithm.
I know people in Skeptic Science absolutely hate me, but this is it. . . anything else
In testing of the climate denial algorithm, it flagged the mention of this peer-reviewed paper (2005, 412 citations) as “climate denial”
Pielke Jr, RA, Landsea, C., Mayfield, M., Layer, J., & Pasch, R. (2005). Storms and global warming. BAMS, 86 (11), 1571-1576.
On one level, the climate denial algorithm is a huge success
These guys have spent a decade + trying to bring down (fake) me and my research as a “denial”
They’ve successfully automated that effort, and in the process, they’ve revealed to everyone exactly what they’re doing
More for this topic. . .
Other apparently true statements flagged as “climate denial” by good algorithm developed by good people doing this “research”
If we don’t already know that, I’ve got one of these🎯 on my back
Don’t worry, in the end good science wins😎
