I love street photography. I’ve actually done very little, but it’s my favorite genre to look at and coffee table books and exhibitions about it are always at the top of my list. It seems to me that a good street photographer will get a lot more attention than an excellent landscape photographer when compared to a better than average photographer. Perhaps many people will disagree, but in my eyes, beautiful street photography stands alone.
For example, Fan Ho’s work is a collection of some of the most memorable images I’ve ever seen, and I’d be willing to decorate every inch of my house with his prints if it didn’t upset my friends. family member whose picture I deleted.
