The Bills and Patriots had a memorable game the last time these teams faced off in Buffalo.

The Patriots asked rookie defender Mac Jones to try just three passes, and it worked well in the blizzard, as New England dashed 46 times for 222 yards to a 14-10 win over Buffalo.

But Buffalo got his revenge in Foxborough, taking 33 points to beat the Patriots 33-21.

The two teams are looking to settle the win in this season’s AFC East showdown with a rematch that will take place at Highmark Stadium. Both are among the best defenses in the NFL: Buffalo has the highest-rated scoring defense (17 points per game) and total defense (272.8 yards per game), with New England times ranked second and fourth in two categories, with 310.8 yards and 17.8 points allowed per game.

Offensively, Josh Allen has given the Bills the third-most-scoring lead this season (28.4 ppg) and the fifth-most (381.9 ypg). New England (27.2 ypg, 353.4 ppg_ ranked sixth and 15th respectively in points scored and total yards.

10:47 pm: Buffalo doesn’t slow down. Allen plowed the ball deep for Knox to make it 38 yards for the Patriots ‘1.

10:43 pm: The Patriots picked a down first, but couldn’t get past 50 and had to drop it. Hyde nearly returned the next hit for a touchdown before he tripped at New England 39 in a 52-yard return leg.

10:39 pm: Pats will start driving their car from the age of 24.

10:35 p.m. Bills scoring game: Bills kept pouring in. Allen fired a dart at Davis, who fought through the showdown and jumped into the end area for another Buffalo encounter. This PAT is good. Extended bill leading to 40-10.

End of the third quarter

10:29 pm: Cole Beasley made his impact, catching a side-arm pass from Allen and sending it 19 yards into the center to move the Bills into New England territory up to 36.

10:26 pm: McKenzie returns the starting spot to Buffalo’s 23.

10:20 p.m. Patriots scoring game: Bourne opened wide in the left corner of the back yard to catch a pass from Jones and give New England their first goal of the game. Bills still lead 33-10.

10:20pm: Two straight passes for Jones to the final zone were not completed. The patriots will give it from Wednesday down.

10:18 pm: Meyers caught a short pass from Jones and was able to go all the way to the first marker to score his first goal and goal in the Bills ‘3.

10:12 pm: Jones goes to Bourne for a major strike. Bourne caught a pass from 50 yards and shot another 22 yards for a record 43.

10:10 pm: Patriots go the opposite way.

10:06 pm Bills Scorer: Emmanuel Sanders couldn’t have been more open in the end area. He snuck in on the left flank and picked up a pass from Allen to make a shot from 34 yards. Subpoints are ignored. Extended bill leading up to 33-3.

10:04 pm: Allen tested three straight passes to move Buffalo 17 yards, and then McKenzie made a forehand 15 yards to the right to send Buffalo at New England 34.

9:58 pm: Jones’ pass was bounced in the air by Matt Milano, and Wallace picked it up at Buffalo 42. Second interception of the game for Jones.

9:57 pm: Rhamondre Stevenson catches the first pass on screen to hit 10 yards. Harris then won a 14-yard advantage to give New England the first comeback.

9:55 pm: The Patriots will start the second half with their 24 in possession.

End of the second quarter

9:39 p.m. Patriots scoring game: Nick Folk put New England on the board with a goal 44 yards out just before halftime. One second left. Promissory note still leads March 27.

9:37 pm: Jones connected with the Meyers on the first down at Buffalo 26 to convert on the fourth, and they were able to get to the line fast enough to spike with seven seconds left.

9:35 pm: The Patriots continued to move the chain with an eight-yard pass to Brandon Bolden and a 2-yard challenge by Jones for 50th place. He was fired in the next game at New England 48, causing Bill Belichick has to call the timeout when there are 30 seconds left.

9:34 pm: Bourne makes a 10-yard catch along the touchline to move the leash on the first play of the shot.

9:33 pm: The Patriots let the ball go to the end zone and they’ll start at 25 minutes.

9:30 p.m. Bills scoring game: Buffalo has yet to finish the race in anything but a touchdown. Singletary dashed out to the right and celebrated on his way into the back yard to score 16m. Extended bill leads to 27-0.

9:27 pm: Allen snapped De’Vante Bausby’s ankle in a challenge from nine yards out with a volley two minutes before the warning.

9:23 pm: A short pass and now a deep pass. Allen hit Stefon Diggs with a 45m ball down the field to move back into New England territory.

9:22 pm: McKenzie received the pass after the goal line and jumped high to score, rushing down the field 19m to open the scoring.

9:19 pm: The Bills are back at offense when the Patriots punt. Hyde returned it two yards to Bills ’11. They have yet to end a drive without scoring.

9:17 pm: Jones was fired in 42nd place for losing 8, and the Patriots were given extra support because of the penalty delay. New England is currently facing 3rd and 20th.

9:15 pm: The Patriots picked up the first man after Levi Wallace was called to intervene on the defensive pass on Aghlor. Ball discovered at Pats ’47.

9:13 pm: Olszewski returned the starting place from the fifth round to the 21st team, as New England now find themselves three points down.

9:07 p.m. Bills scoring game: Singletary found enough space behind the left-back to cut into the end of the field for a four-foot touchdown, and Buffalo was clicking all the posts. PAT has been blocked. Extended bill leads to 20-0.

9:05 pm: Singletary cut nine yards to give Buffalo a first goal.

9:03 pm: Another New England penalty brought the Bills closer to the line. The Bills had their first drop at the Patriots 17 with 9:23 left in the inning.

9:01 pm: A New England penalty would switch the chain again to Buffalo before Allen connected with Gabriel Davis for a 22-yard advantage to move back into Patriots territory.

8:59 pm: Singletary cuts to the left to hit three when he can pick it up first at Bills ’31.

8:54 pm: Damien Harris almost reached the first marker, but he couldn’t break it on the outside, and the Patriots were forced to take a beating. Hyde calls for fair arrest at Bills ’19.

End of the first quarter

8:48 pm: In this warm-up, the Patriots will make their own 25-time touch and take with 40 seconds remaining in the first half.

8:44 p.m. Bills scoring game: The Knox-Allen connection continues to be strong in this relationship. Knox makes an 11-yard loop in the end area with a laser from Allen as the Bills capitalize on the revenue. Bills leading 14-0.

8:44 pm: Allen only needed to rush up the middle five yards to convert on another third downhill attempt for Buffalo.

8:41 pm: Isaiah McKenzie makes an impressive leap to go 19 yards and put Buffalo in 22nd place by the Pats.

8:40pm: The singletary gives Buffalo its third-down second conversion of the day, rushing for a six-yard pickup to move up New England’s 41st.

8:38 pm: Allen noticed Knox wide open on the court to hit 24 yards in the first play of the drive.

8:34 pm: Jones tries to find Nelson Agholor in the end zone, but he is tried by Micah Hyde, who slips out of bounds for a bounce. Invoices will take over at 20 by themselves.

8:34 pm: And now Jones shows that he can play with his feet too. He got rid of the pressure in his pocket and moved up to the right 16 meters to switch in a 3rd and long.

8:31 pm: Jones escaped from a sack, and used his mobility to extend the game before finding Hunter Henry at the 50-yard line to complete 30 yards.

8:29 pm: Mac Jones managed to pull through. The goal went nine yards to Kendrick Bourne’s header to knock the Patriots out.

8:27 pm: Patriots own goal scorer Gunner Olszewski put the ball out of the penalty area, but only won the number 13 in the second leg.

8:22 p.m. Bills scoring game: This time, Allen used his foot to roll out of the bag, dodge a sack, and land a pass in front of Dawson Knox, who was able to jump up and throw the pass to open the scoring for the Bills. Bills leading 7-0.

8:21 pm: Allen once again rammed the New England defense with his feet. He dashed to the right from 15 yards to make it the New England No 9’s first goal.

8:18 pm: Josh Allen shows off the wheels, dashing for 26 meters to New England 31.

8:17 pm: Devin Singletary can fight on the marker to get four to get the Bills earliest.

8:15 pm: The Bills receive the opening start time and will start at 30 of their own.
