Pastor Mike Todd apologizes for Viral Spit . sermon
Pastor Mike Todd has apologized for a sermon in which he spat in his hand and rubbed a man’s face in his church.
“We want to help people,” Todd said. “We want people to see Jesus. We want people to feel loved. We want people who are desperate to be able to find hope and I’m passionate – so much so that I try to do things extreme thing to help people get there. And yesterday it crossed the line.”
Todd calls the video a “distraction” from the message. He also called it “disgusting.” Todd said he had a “vision” from God that he might need to get “annoyed”.

“The way you just reacted is how the people in your life will react when God is doing what it takes to work miracles,” Todd told the audience after their reaction.
Todd has been a co-pastor of Conversion Church with his wife, Natalie, since February 2015. His church has more than 5,000 attendees.
